Bhangarh Fort in Rajasthan was built in the 16 century by Raja Bhagwant Das and lies 50 km away from the Sariska Sanctuary. There are temples, palaces, and Havelis in the city. Lahori Gate, Ajmeri Gate, Phulbari Gate, and the Delhi Gate are some of the gates of the fort. Hanuman Temple, Gopinath Temple, Someshwar Temple, Keshav Rai Temple, Mangla Devi Temple, Ganesh Temple, and Navin Temple are beautiful temples located inside the fort. This fort is considered a haunted place in India. Many visitors have sensed paranormal activities in the fort. Theories say that this fort has been cursed by a sage named Guru Balu Nath. King asked that sage to let him build a fort at that spot. Sage agreed on one condition that the shadow of the fort shall not touch him. Unfortunately, This condition could not be fulfilled by the king. Sage cursed the whole village and the entire village was destroyed. Since the curse every house in the village was roofless. People say whoever stayed on the fort at night could not ever return to tell the story.
Agrasen ki Baoli is situated in New Delhi near Connaught Place. It is 60 m long and 15 m wide, a historical stepwell. This stepwell was created for women so that they can step inside this well and relax during summer and take baths peacefully. This Baoli has a total of 103 steps, you can hear an echo of your footsteps as you go down. Timings of the Baoli are from 6:00 A.M TO 7:00 P.M. Entry in the resort is free and it will take at least 2 hours to explore this Baoli. This place is also famous for film shooting in Bollywood. It is one of many most-filmed places in Delhi.
Kuldhara village was built in the 13 Century, it is an abandoned village in the Jaisalmer district. Kuldhara was occupied by Paliwal Brahmins before it was abandoned. People say all the villagers left this place together and they cursed the whole village. No one was able to reside in the village after that. The weather in Rajasthan is pleasant from October to March and so this is the ideal time to visit this ghost town. When you enter the village you will find scattered mud houses, ruins, and destroyed villages. The chief of Jaisalmer wanted to marry the village head’s daughter and he also threatened the villagers to not oppose this marriage but everyone in the village opposed this marriage and so to save themselves they abandoned the village. Another theory is that people left because of high taxes imposed on them by higher authorities.
